How much does TransferRoom cost? (2026)
TransferRoom does not publish its prices; its website offers a demo instead. According to the A-Leagues' announcement of their partnership, it works on subscriptions only, priced by the size of the club or agency and the length of the contract. The most recent figure on record, from a Premier League executive in August 2026, is about £20,000 for basic membership and about £35,000 for the full package.
What is on the record
| Figure | Amount | Source and date |
|---|---|---|
| Basic membership | About £20,000 | A Premier League executive quoted by the Daily Mail, reported by FootballTransfers, 5 August 2026 [1] |
| Full membership | About £35,000 | The same executive, same report [1] |
| Earlier range | €5,000 to €15,000 a year | Reported by AS in November 2019, cited by The Scotsman, June 2020 [2]; likely out of date |
| Commission on transfers | None | A-Leagues press release on the TransferRoom partnership, October 2024 [3] |
None of these figures comes from a TransferRoom price list, and the 2026 report does not say what period or which parts of the offer they cover. Treat them as indications, and ask TransferRoom for a quote for your own club or agency.
How the subscription works
The A-Leagues' press release on their partnership says TransferRoom "works purely on subscriptions" and "does not receive any commission from transfers it facilitates". The fee varies with the "size of club or agency, contract duration, and the subscription model chosen" [3]. The homepage offers a demo, not a price [4].
The same executive described the difference between the tiers as "what you have access to": with the full package you can pitch as many players and reply to as many pitches as you want, and you get add-on tools such as deeper player statistics [1]. The report does not say whether the amounts include TransferRoom's live deal days, where clubs and agencies meet in short scheduled slots; it only says attending them "costs a pretty penny" [1].
What agents pay
Agencies also pay a subscription to use TransferRoom, priced by size and contract like the clubs' [3]. No agent price has been published or reported that we could verify.
What the alternatives cost
If the price is what holds you back, compare what you need. TransferRoom offers a network of more than 800 clubs, real-time market data and tools to pitch players and track availability, and it runs its own events [4][1]. Other tools do one part of that: data platforms for scouting, and request-based platforms for finding players through agents.
| TransferRoom | Transferlink | |
|---|---|---|
| Clubs | Subscription; reported about £20,000 (basic) to £35,000 (full) [1] | Free until 1 March 2027; then €149 a month, worldwide, first request free |
| Agencies | Subscription; no public figure | Free until 1 March 2027; then from €149 a month, the first 100 agencies keep their founding price |
| Share of a fee | None [3] | None; a fee set on a request goes straight from club to agency |
Transferlink is newer and narrower: a club posts the player it needs and FIFA-licensed agents answer with one player each. Where TransferRoom is the better fit, and where it is not, is in our honest comparison.
Questions to ask before you sign
- How many transfers, loans or sales did we do last year, and how many came through a platform rather than our own network?
- Do we need player data and valuations, or mainly a way to reach agents and clubs?
- Will someone at the club use it every week, or only around the windows?
- What is the contract length, and what happens to the price at renewal?
- Do agents need to be FIFA-licensed to reach us, and who checks that? See how to check a licence.
